“Nothing Shall I Fear!”

25 year-of-service youth begin a bold new chapter at university
August 19, 2020 - Mexico

Year-of-service students assemble at Casa Buen Señor with National Director Rafael Bermudez and fellow staff for a dynamic two-day workshop before they head to university.

Our 25 young men and women concluded their second year of family service with a beautiful retreat organized by Fr. Philip "Phil" Cleary, NPH Mexico Chaplain. The retreat was an important moment of transition to a new chapter as university students, equipped with an all-important asset: their faith in God and the love and support of their NPH family.

With the motto “I will fear no evil,” we spent two wonderfully intense days with them. There was true fellowship, reflection, and trust in God's promises for each one. It called to mind the Prophet Jeremiah: “I know well the plans I have in mind for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare, not for woe! plans to give you a future full of hope.”

Thank you to Fr. Phil, NPH Mexico National Director Rafael Bermudez, and Health Promoter and Workshop Leader Ricardo Klayen for putting so much attention and care in every detail to make this retreat a success.

Go ahead, beloved children, knowing that God loves you and we do, too.

Support our year-of-service students in the next chapter of their lives by visiting NPH Mexico.
